The term "copyright" refers to all the prerogatives granted by law to the creator of an original work of the mind, namely economic rights and moral rights.
To manufacture or have manufactured in numbers of copies, all kinds of artistic work. "The contract by which the author of a work of the mind or his successor in title assigns to a person called a publisher the right to make or have made a number of copies of the work, on condition that the publisher ensures its publication and distribution" L.132-1 CPI
The notion of intellectual work in the sense of intellectual property law refers to any creation resulting from an intellectual or artistic activity, whether it be books, music, drawings or software. As soon as it is completed, the author and his or her intellectual work will benefit from special protection.
The market on which works of art are traded. This term covers the trade in art objects between different players: artists, intermediaries such as gallery owners, art brokers or asset management advisors, and buyers, art lovers or collectors. This market is segmented: ancient art, contemporary art, classical art, primitive art, etc.
